License terms, purchases and refunds, acceptable use, and limitations. Last updated: May 28, 2026

Use the apps with confidence

These terms explain the rules for using the Mythic GME apps, the license relationship behind them, platform purchases, refunds, and third-party services.

1) Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mythic GME apps and website operated by Jason Holt Digital LLC ("JHD", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the apps or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps or website.

2) Products Covered

  • Mythic GME Mobile — iPhone, iPad, Android, and Fire tablets
  • Mythic GME Digital — Windows, macOS, and Linux

Mythic Game Master Emulator 2nd Edition and related names, text, tables, and trademarks are owned by Word Mill Creative LLC and used under license. JHD develops the officially licensed digital companion apps.

3) License and Use

Subject to these Terms, JHD grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the apps for personal, non‑commercial tabletop roleplaying. You may not copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the apps except as permitted by law.

  • Official content: Licensed Mythic text, tables, and other included reference material are for in‑app use only. Do not extract, copy, redistribute, or republish them outside the apps except where law allows.
  • User content: Your journals, scenes, notes, custom tables, and other original play content remain yours. That content is stored locally unless you choose to export, share, sync, or send it in a support request.
  • Prohibited use: No unlawful, infringing, or automated scraping activities.

4) Purchases and Taxes

The Mythic GME apps do not use subscriptions. Pricing and availability may vary by platform, region, and store.

  • Mobile Expanded Features: Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore sell a one-time Expanded Features unlock for Mythic GME Mobile.
  • Desktop purchases: Microsoft Store and itch.io sell Mythic GME Digital as a one-time purchase.
  • Taxes/VAT: Taxes, VAT, currency conversion, receipts, and payment processing are handled by the store or payment provider where required.
  • Delivery: Purchased access is delivered after the store or payment provider confirms the purchase.

5) Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider that processed the purchase. JHD cannot guarantee a refund or override a store's refund decision, but you can contact me if you need help finding the right process.

6) Third‑Party Services

The apps use third-party services for store distribution, purchases, optional analytics, diagnostics, and support paths as described in the Privacy Policy. No advertising SDKs are used.

7) Disclaimers

THE APPS AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JHD AND ITS LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPS. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JHD and its licensors from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the apps.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may uninstall or discontinue use at any time; this does not entitle you to refunds beyond each platform's policies.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the apps evolve. The "Last Updated" date will change when the Terms change, and we may provide additional notice where required or appropriate. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Venue for disputes shall be the state or federal courts located in Delaware, where permissible.

13) Platform Store Requirements

If you downloaded or purchased the apps through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Microsoft Store, or itch.io, that store's terms also apply. Store providers are not responsible for maintaining or supporting the apps except where their own terms or applicable law require it.
