1. Information Collection and Use

1.1 Personal Information

The app itself does not collect personal information. No registration is required to use the Application.

1.2 Technical Data Collection

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics to:

  • Collect anonymous crash reports to fix bugs
  • Track basic app usage to improve features

This technical data:

  • Is anonymous and cannot identify individual users
  • Is automatically deleted after 12 months
  • Is only used to improve app stability and features
  • May be processed by Google according to their privacy practices

1.3 Legal Basis for Processing

Under GDPR, the legal basis for processing technical data is "legitimate interests" - specifically, to maintain and improve app functionality and fix bugs. This processing is necessary for these purposes and does not override user privacy rights as the data is anonymous and minimal.

1.4 File System Access and Storage

The Application requires limited file system access for:

  • Importing game journal files (JSON format only)
  • Exporting game journals and generated content
  • Storing your game data locally on your device

This access:

  • Is limited to JSON files containing game data (or Markdown files for export)
  • All data is stored locally on your device
  • No file content is ever uploaded to servers
